EDITORIAL NOTE
SWANK TALK
August. Hot days. Sultry nights. Despite the heat, we're sure you'll run to
the counterman to pay for this issue of SWANK as soon as you learn what's in
store this month!
First, back by popular demand—reader favorite Julie Parton! This raven-haired,
bosomy beauty is fast becoming SWANK's woman of the decade. Because we've taken
Julie out of her air-conditioned home to be our centerfold, she's had to find
another way to beat the heat—shaving! So cool! So refreshing! What's that
you say? You're not getting any cooler? You're actually getting hotter under
the collar? Well, we won't tell Julie—we know you wouldn't want to hurt
her feelings.
Your temperature isn't going to get any lower when you see The Seduction of
Linda. We'd certainly like to be in the shoes—make that out of the shoes—of
the gentleman who takes this busty blonde in his arms and has his way with her.
What's that noise? Was that the thermometer popping its cork?
We thought that a flight would cool us off. But then something went wrong with
the plane's air conditioning. At least that's what we thought till we saw a
saucy stewardess and her passionate passenger. Fortunately, our photographer
was ready, and the results are featured in Coffee, Tea or...
How many people out there are oversexed? Our entire subscription list, certainly—and
happily so! And now, to make it official, we have an article on the subject
cleverly titled Are You Oversexed? Take the accompanying quiz and you'll know
for sure.
Depression brought on by the heat is enough to drive anyone into Therapy. Not
the extremely expensive psychiatric process, but the uplifting short story,
featured a few pages hence. In our fiction offering, a young man's unrequited
lust for a married woman brings him down, until her divorce brings him up—in
more ways than one.
Barbara Dare (she of the tush spectacular) and Stephanie Rage (of perfect-breast
fame) are back with their always hot, ever-sexy columns. And our readers continue
to strain our office's climate control system with letters detailing their steamy
adventures. Sorry, friends, but don't expect this month's issue of SWANK to
lower your temperature a single degree!
